Wildlife Clearance / Wildlife NOC for Environmental Clearance
Wildlife Clearance, commonly referred to as Wildlife NOC, is a mandatory statutory approval required for projects that involve land or activities within or in proximity to National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, or other Protected Areas. The approval is governed under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and forms a critical conditional component of the Environmental Clearance (EC) stagefor applicable projects.

Where project activities may impact wildlife habitats, corridors, or eco-sensitive zones, wildlife-related approvals must be examined and addressed in parallel with the EIA–EC process.Environmental Clearance cannot be finalised unless wildlife implications are duly appraised and resolved.

Understanding Wildlife Clearance / Wildlife NOC

Wildlife NOC is required to ensure that development activities do not adversely affect protected wildlife habitats, biodiversity, or ecological balance.
